Generic++ is always delivered as source code. Therefore we have no possibility to protect our software from illegal use. Nevertheless we do not consider this as a problem, because we trust our users.

For licensing purposes two classes of users are defined:

Commercial users:

All users, that use Generic++ in commercial projects of any kind. In other words: if you use Generic++ to make money, we want to participate.

Noncommercial users:

All other users, e.g. academic users, open source programmers etc.

Noncommercial users can use Generic++ free of charge. Your only obligation is to register your license here.

All commercial users can evaluate Generic++ free of charge and without any obligations for 6 weeks. All further use requires the purchase of a commercial license. The current price list can be found here.

All user data are kept confidential and are only used for our own information purposes.
